Corporate Video for BBC

The team from BBC in Newcastle and composer Benjamin Till asked people from across the North East and Cumbria to share their stories about why 2012 has been memorable for them. The project celebrates an extraordinary year and provides a fascinating insight into the lives of ordinary people aged between 1 and 100. The 100 Faces Music was written by Benjamin Till and produced by the Philharmonic Orchestra.

The BBC asked Karis our editor to assist with the editing of this project, as with it being filmed against ‘green screen’ it would require technical expertise to bring the various layers together.

Benjamin and Karis spent four days developing the style and look for the project. Each person who features had to be keyed with a suitable backdrop and the music carefully synced in time with the contributing lyrics and dialogue. Several hours of footage was reduced to down to only a few minutes of what can only be described as a unique journey.

The BBC special was broadcast on Look North in December and will be archived for future use. We look forward to supporting the BBC on future projects.
