Promotional Video for Storm Abroad
Based in the Newcastle, Storm Abroad already had a great website and digital strategy in place. However, they urgently needed to communicate exactly what their Fitness retreat consisted of, who it was aimed at and how the experience was structured. Working closely with Travel Bureau and the Storm team we devised a plan around what promotional video content required capturing around the resort, the gym and what information we’d like to elicit from the contributors. We then flew to Turkey with the team and spent three days filming the Storm Abroad experience.
Using cinematic cameras and lens we captured elements of intense training, relaxation and around the resort. We interviewed six customers and asked them about their experience, aiming to narrate the Storm Abroad experience through the eyes of those who have been. At the post production stage we wanted to demonstrate the balance of intensity and down time, communicating the balance and structure offered to customers; a blue wash, matching Storm Abroad’s logo and website, subtly demonstrates the contrast.
Travel Bureau and Storm Abroad will use the video on their website, across social media channels and via Pay Per Click advertising; a strategy that returned investment within one month on Storm Fitness’ first video project. As so much good content was captured, we are developing a range of additional video marketing assets, allowing the team to more effectively market the product to target audiences.
