Having supported the Great North Air Ambulance (GNAA) since 2009, Three Motion has already completed a series of corporate and promotional video projects. Following on from the success of last year’s TV commercial, Jim approached us to produce a series of additional films.
The project aims were to help the GNAA widen their reach, explain how the charity operates and better communicate the need for additional support through donations; it was a complex brief which would require us to create several chapters of digital video and animation to meet their current marketing objectives.
Over several days we captured interviews with the team, footage of the crew being scrambled and developed animated models of their iconic green helicopter.
In order to provide the GNAA with the ability to spread the word about how the charity operates and the fact that it is funded entirely through donations, we created a 30 Second Video Ad. The green screen video, which will be channelled to audiences via social media networks, introduces the team and explains why your donation is so important.
To illustrate how donations can be made, we created an animated infographic which uses the helicopter as a basis for showing ways that you can support the cause.
To provide donors with an understanding of just how complex and advanced their helicopters are, we integrated 3D modelling, video footage and graphics, to produce an animated technical overview.
Most recently we were asked to create a TV ad which would be aired during their ‘Air Angels’ TV documentary show. Enough money was raised through donors in the first week of the campaign.
Each project we create enables Jim and his team to be able to navigate through these independently at money raising events and presentations. Look out for their green helicopter and please offer your support to this worthy charity.
